With 60 members in the greater Philadelphia region and a D/E team that races nationally, we are the most competitive cycling club in the tri-state area and also the most active.
2016 - Started with a development squad of local CAT2 riders, all of them upgraded to CAT1 during the season, and we finished with a solid crew of six CAT1 racers who earned us an invite to our first USAC Pro Road Tour (PRT) event. Our club members competed at over 60 local events and multiple charity rides.
2017 – In year one as a registered as a D/E team, we raced PRT & ARC events and two of the hardest stage races on the East Coast. Together with the club, CS Velo participated in over 100 events, garnered 150 top-10 finishes. We also won the CAT1 & U23 PA BAR, and were the second place team in the state.
2018 - The D/E team traveled to Georgia, Arkansas, California, and throughout the mid-Atlantic racing 4 PRT races and a total of 8 stage races. CS Velo raced over 130 days this year, grabbing 165 top-ten results and over 60 podiums. We won the PA BAR Team Category, swept the Road CAT1 & U23 awards and also won the CAT2 proving our ability to develop local cyclists into successful team players.
2019 Plans- The D/E team is stepping up to more national racing!
Covid was no fun
2022 - We welcomed new DS Tanner Putt, added 3 new international riders, Xander White from NZ and Nic Narraway & Conor White from Bermuda. Racing was successful in 2022, highlighted by an overall victory at the Tour of the Gila by Sean Gardner, and a 2nd place at the Redlands Bicycle Classic by Xander White.
2023 - Many new riders came on board in 2023. Strong performances from a number of riders at the Tour of the Gila led us to a team classification win. Other highlights include taking victory at the Elite Nationals Road Race and the Green Mountain Stage Race
